Deuces Wild (Playtech version)

Playtech’s Deuces Wild Online Video Poker

This version of Deuces Wild online video poker is powered by Playtech who is one of the leading online software developers. Playtech’s Deuces Wild game follows the standard rules of Deuces Wild with the same game setup but Playtech have created this version with a theme instead of the usual visuals of a video poker game. There is a Wild West feel to the game with the background displaying a cartoon like cow girl and cacti with deuces bordering the video poker game.

How to Play Deuces Wild Video Poker

Deuces Wild is played much the same as any other Deuces Wild version. The two card, known as the deuce, acts as a wild card and can replace any other card in order to create a winning poker hand. The game is played solo and not against a dealer or any other players.

Deuces Wild allows up to five coins to be bet at varying values. The bet one button is used to place the coins and can be pressed the number of times for the desired number of coins. There is a bet max button that can be used to bet the highest amount automatically. Once the bets are placed five cards are dealt and the hold button can be used to select the desired cards and the rest will be discarded when the new cards are dealt. The second deal is the final deal and a win will occur if the five cards that are displayed hold a winning poker hand and if not the game will end and a new one will begin.

The Deuces Wild Video Poker Pay Table

The Deuces Wild pay table displays the pay out amounts for the various poker hands. The highest winning hand is a natural royal flush which includes the ten through to ace cards of the same suit. To win a natural royal flush there must be no deuce standing in as a wild. An 800x pay out can be won on a natural royal flush when the maximum bet has been placed. The next poker hands from highest value are the four deuces, wild royal flush, five of a kind, straight flush, four of a kind, full house, flush and straight. These pay out up to 200x, 25x, 15x, 9x, 4x, 4x, 3x and 2x respectively. Since the two cards act as the deuce wilds, the three of a kind is the lowest value hand which pays out 1x.

The Deuces Wild Gamble Feature

Deuces Wild offers a gamble feature where all or half of any winnings can be doubled. The feature activates whenever there is a win but it is optional to play. The gamble feature can be played multiple times if it continues to produce wins. The gamble feature is played with one card face up and four face down. One of the face down cards need to be selected and must be of a higher value than the face up card to win. If there is a tie then the original win amount is collected but if the card has a lower value then the gambled amount is lost. During this game the deuces only represent their face value and do not act as wilds.
